Document pre-review now standard at booking

From this month, document pre-review for every shipment is completed at the booking stage rather than after cargo reaches the warehouse. The purpose is to resolve documentation problems before goods leave the factory.

In practice, the most common cause of border delays is not inspection itself but unclear classification or missing declaration elements. When that happens, rework usually requires the client to resupply information, which costs several days.

The new process asks clients for commodity, material, use, and brand information at booking. Our staff complete the classification and return a declaration plan. Pickup is arranged only after the client confirms, which prevents cargo reaching the warehouse with incomplete documents.

Since launch, rejections caused by documentation have fallen noticeably and average dwell time at the border has shortened by roughly half a day. Clients with an existing broker relationship can also have their established declaration approach applied.
