Auto parts on a standing rail schedule

Auto parts on a standing rail schedule

Background

The assembly plant enforced a strict delivery window: early arrival incurred storage charges, and late arrival incurred penalties. The supplier needed a predictable, weekly production-schedulable transport plan.

Our approach

  1. Worked backwards from the plant’s production plan and fixed a Wednesday departure of one 40HQ from Harbin each week.
  2. Shared full route tracking with the customer’s procurement team so both sides saw the same in-transit status.
  3. Delivered directly to the assembly plant warehouse after Moscow clearance, with no third-party handover.
  4. Built in a three-day buffer so border inspections would not affect the delivery window.
